STONE CIRCLE

Stone Circle is a group made up of four diverse and talented young emcees from various parts of South London. The group members are the intellectual Braynz, the philosophical Manifest, the influential Mic Concise and the mystical 9-Lives.

Despite being an unfamiliar name to many Stone Circle have been quietly sharpening their vocabulary tools and paying dues for a while now. The group is managed by Social Misfit Entertainment and are part of the renowned South London-based international hiphop conglomerate, Social Misfits.

Stone Circle were initially introduced on the Social Misfits much talked about 2001 collaborative double-album, "The Society Documented". Their various contributions on that Social Misfits album attracted them much acclaim and interest including airplay from Tim Westwood’s Radio 1 Rap Show, The Chubby Kidz show on London’s Kiss 100, BBC 1Xtra, Itch FM, etc. In addition the group undertook promotional performances at notable events nationwide including the infamous In The City Music Conference (Manchester) 2001, The UK Hip Hop Awards (in 2001 & 2002), etc., as well as appeared or received favourable comments in a number of popular press and online magazines.

Encouraged by that unprecedented support the group strengthened and set about recording their debut project. The awesome foursome spent much of the little spare time between study and employment commitments recording their now available debut album, Infrastructure. The core purpose of the album was to build upon their experience so far plus cordially instate Stone Circle to hiphop audiences locally, nationally and to some extent internationally.

As demonstrated by all their recordings Stone Circle, appeal to those who love their hip-hop straight, diverse and undiluted. Braynz, Manifest, 9-Lives and Mic Concise are all about lyricism delivered as an expressive artform.
