Catch Stone Circle performing tracks off their album at the The RoaR Showcase this week. The event will be held on Thursday 25th March 2004 @ Oh Art!! Oxford House, Derbyshire Street, (off Bethnal Green Road) Bethnal Green, London E2. 

Its an early start and finish (7pm -10pm) for those of us that got somewhere to go the following morning but those who still wanna get down can hit the 'After Party' which will be held at The Embassy, 29 Old Burlington Street, Mayfair, London W1. Tickets for the showcase are £7 in advance, M.O.T.D.

Mic Club UK and Stone Circle would like to thank all of you who came out and attended the launch of Mic Club @ Plan-B on 25th February. It was a great night with a atmosphere and we hope you all enjoyed yourselves, the artists and the Mic Club vibe. A special thank you to all those who performed. In true Mic Club tradition, we'll be switchin' the sets, bringing you more Singers who couldn't make it this time round, and bringing to the mic those artists who came to check out the Mic Club vibe but didn’t perform just yet, ("you know who you are", we spoke to you), hope you feel inspired and ready to step on the platform.

17 February: Got Something To Say... Join The Club!

Announcing the latest initiative from Stone Circle.... Every last Wednesday of every month Stone Circle play host to a new and exciting night called, "MIC CLUB".

Mic Club is;

bullet

An open mic night, which encourages attendees to express themselves and share what they wish.

bullet

A night for up-n-coming artists to perform their best material, ‘conscious’ artist are especially encouraged to come and perform.

bullet

A place with a positive and relaxed atmosphere, where rapping, singing and spoken word are all represented on the mic.

bullet

A nice place to go hear (and dance) to the hottest hiphop and all the latest tunes

bullet

A place for like-minded artists and ‘heads’ to network, chill and be inspired.

bullet

An opportunity (in time) to see some big names perform.

Plan-B in Brixton will be the venue for this new night that aims to be helpful to artists and entertaining to all. It all kicks off on Wednesday 25th February. On the decks we have ACE and Invisible from 1Xtra alongside Sir Prestige (Social Misfits). Stone Circle will be performing tracks from their current album 'Infrastructure'. Also performing on the night will be a host of other exciting talents. 

Come early to put your name down for the open mic to avoid disappointment. Doors open at 6pm  Show starts at 7.30pm. Its  FREE before 7PM and only  £3 after. Plan-B is situated at 418 Brixton Road -  between Brixton Tube Station and Brixton Academy (for exact location peep this)

Happy New Year ya'll. Stone Circle have kick-started the new year in good spirit and are in a very optimistic mood for 2004. So what's been happening  in recent times...

- The boys also have an insightful interview recently posted at  ukrunnings.com courtesy of Tricksta (Wolftown Commitee). 

- The boys are also busy organising another night out to thank everyone who acquired and supported their album since it was release nearly 3 months ago. The big day will be 25th February. If you were there for the launch party you know you gotta be there again and if you missed out last time, this one is gonna be even more special. More details coming soon. 

28th November 2003:

The Stone Circle album launch party on 25th November was a great success. Thanks to everyone that reached and contributed to the great atmosphere. Big up to the very entertaining host Roach da English kid, Naana - this songstress  ripped the roof off Plan B with her amazing voice,  Shortman - who recited a very tight spoken word piece, and PQ/Pique - who definately represented. Stone Circle delighted the audience with a very lively and energetic performance of tracks from 'Infrastructure'. Peep the new pics of Stone Circle added to the gallery that were taken at the party. If you weren't there then you missed out on a great night.  

10th October 2003:

Announcing details about the release date for the Stone Circle "Infrastructure" LP. The LP drops at your favourite hiphop purveyor and a street corner near you on Monday 24th November. 

The boys and Social Misfit Entertainment will be celebrating the event with a showcase party the following day. Tuesday 25th November is the date and Plan B (Club) in Brixton, SE London is the place to be. Performing on the night alongside Stone Circle are a host of other upcoming artists including Roach da Englishkid, PiQue, Nana and other special surprise guests whilst on the decks are Sir Prestige, Ace & Vis (BBC 1Xtra),  and the infamous Chubby Kid No.1, Big Ted (Kiss 100FM). It's FREE before 10PM so come early, plus drinks are Buy 1 get 1 Free so come with a friend and get merry.

22nd October 2003

The Stone Circle website is officially jump-started. Though partly still under construction the site offers an insight about Stone Circle, a talented hiphop group you willing be hearing a lot more about.

Infrastructure, the group's first LP, drops end of the month complimented by various ongoing marketing initiatives. The album should be available at most decent independent hiphop stockists nationwide plus via mail-order from various online companies and ofcourse this website – check here if you can't wait and we will email you details on how to get hold of it.
